Minor surgical procedures.
Removal of cysts, skin tags, and repair of earlobes.
Along with our skin cancer excisions we are happy to provide consultations to assess other skin concerns which may require minor surgical intervention, such as:
- Cyst removal: this is often a simple procedure which involves injecting local anesthetic into the skin surrounding the cyst, then making a small incision to extract the cyst before closing the skin with sutures.
- Skin tag removal: Skin tags are very common in and around the neckline and armpits. These can often be removed very simply with the use of local anaesthetic and using our electrosurgical device.
- Stretched or pulled ear lobe repairs: please book for a consultation where our doctor can assess your ears and discuss possible repair options with you.
- Milia extraction: milia are small, white, firm cyst like skin lesions which are filled with keratin. These can easily be extracted in clinic.
